The VinoVino wine bar and shop is located on the ground floor of a landmarked building in New York’s historic Tribeca district.

The design of the long, narrow space preserves the original tin ceiling and exposed brick walls. These existing architectural elements are integrated with simple additions: a minimalist glass wall separates the bar from the store, while discreet lighting brings out the textures of the existing materials.

During the day, the bar provides a dramatic backdrop to the wine store. In turn, long racks of bottles become part of the display come evening when the intimate wine bar is in full swing.
